Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate, ethical, uplifting and highly skilled Physician Assistant to join a dedicated team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care while working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals, maintaining a courteous uplifting and supportive team-oriented environment.

The Physician Assistant will be responsible for performing or delegating a wide range of medical procedures, diagnosing and treating various medical conditions, and collaborating with the healthcare team to develop treatment plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop individualized treatment plans
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment by following aseptic technique
  • Stay current with the latest medical standards of care- Perform procedures under the supervision of a physician
  • Perform thorough and in-depth patient evaluations, order any necessary diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications or therapies as necessary
  • Provide and/or suggest routine and preventative check-ups, medical consultations, and referrals
  • Administer injections, perform or request lab draws as needed
  • Ensure all medical records are accurately documented and up to date with all correspondence, adhering to HIPAA guidelines
  • Provide urgent care services as needed

 

Experience:

  • Must have a Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant studies or a related field
  • Must be certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
  • Must have experience working in a medical office setting or similar environment
  • Must have a robust understanding of primary care
  • Must have experience providing urgent care services
  • Must be familiar with medical terminology and be able to accurately document patient information
  • Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a high level of patient volume and maintain your couth.
  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be 100% committed to providing exceptional patient care and service as you would want someone to do for you and your family.
