Are you passionate about supporting students with autism and seeking a fulfilling opportunity to work from home? We are excited to invite a dedicated Virtual Special Education Teacher to our team, where you'll provide remote instruction to K-3rd grade students. This full-time position allows you to connect with a class of up to 10 students, supported by two instructional aides.

Key Responsibilities:

Individualized Education Programs (IEPs): Develop and implement tailored IEPs for students with autism using virtual platforms.
Engaging Instruction: Deliver dynamic online lessons designed to meet each student's unique needs, creating an interactive and supportive learning environment.
Team Coordination: Collaborate with instructional aides to ensure they effectively support students in the virtual classroom.
Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed in the remote setting.
Communication: Maintain open and regular communication with parents, staff, and administrators to provide cohesive support and track student progress.

Qualifications:

Active California Special Education teaching credential.
Experience teaching students with autism, especially in a virtual or remote context.
Proficiency in managing online classroom tools and platforms effectively.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Experience working collaboratively in a virtual team environment.
